Look Who's Got Soul!
"Soul of Real" had organized several scrimmages with TOPSoccer kids in Placentia. The TOPSoccer athletes are players with varying degrees and types of disabilities. They have approximately 90 players in the program and they have organized many co-ed teams with all ages participating on each team.
The BU13 team had a very rewarding experience playing a game against TOPSoccer last Saturday. It was an exciting 40 minute game with a tie score going back and forth. The TOPSoccer goalkeeper did a fantastic job blocking many of the Real players shots on goal with the wheels of his wheelchair.
The game ended with a 6 - 6 tie and Real pins were awarded to all the participating TOPSoccer players.
The team ended a very long day, consisting of long drives, by stopping on the way back and having fun eating and playing video games together at Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Place.
